Reincarnation

Ever since I began writing music at the age of four, I've been wanting to make a difference with my music - a difference in mood, elevation, vibration, level of connection, empathy for our fellow humans and all creatures.

Music came easy to me…as part of the natural flow of my life and soul. Still does.

But getting it out? Well, that's a whole different story. Lots of interruptions and distractions…not to the process of creating music, of channeling music, of celebrating and cherishing music. But getting it out into the public sphere, either through performance or publishing?  That's been harder.

Each time I've recommitted myself to the public nature of my music, some event or circumstance or soul has short-circuited my plans. Please understand, though, that nothing has EVER gotten in the way of the sacred connection I have with music, and my appreciation for the access I've had and continue to have to divine inspiration.

Over a number of decades I have performed at coffee houses in NY and CT; performed with our band, The Catch, while in college at Fordham University; performed in Greenwich Village as a duo; performed colonial music with a group and contemporary music as a trio in Williamsburg, VA while in law school; performed with a big band in CT and NY; performed as part of a quintet with jazz masters in NYC; performed as a solo singer-songwriter in CT, NY, VA and NM; performed as part of a band in NM; written instrumental music for film, commercials, podcasts, courses, etc….and on and on. I've written in almost every genre possible, and you can find a wealth of my music at www.reverbnation.com/kathleensabo.

Some of my music has been produced and recorded by me, and some with incredibly talented producers/engineers/multi-instrumentalists Larry Mitchell (www.larrymitchell.com) and Lee Weissman (www.leeweissman.com).

Earlier today, someone wrote to me on my Reverb Nation account, “Never give up!”  I don't even know what this means in regard to me and my music - how could I give up on something that is as essential to me as air?!

So, here I go/here I am…putting my music out to the public again, for the 6th, 7th, 8th time?  I've lost count! :-)

No matter. The important part is that here I am again, hoping that my music fosters the same things I've always wished it to foster: a difference in mood, elevation, vibration, level of connection, empathy for our fellow humans and all creatures.

I'd love to connect with you via email or text or through performance - if you're motivated to reach out in any way, please do so. I'd love to hear from you, connect with you, collaborate with you.

Wishing you well…blessings…

Kathleen <3
